Kosamba, Gujarat, India, April 2026 – Prosenjit Mukherjee has transitioned into the role of Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Kalamandir Jewellers Ltd., taking on a significantly expanded mandate that goes beyond traditional HR. In this role, he will oversee Learning & Organization Development, Administration & Facilities, Security & Surveillance, Corporate Hospitality, CSR, and ESG across the group.
This appointment reflects a strategic move to build a unified and scalable organizational foundation across the parent company and its subsidiaries. By integrating diverse functions under a single leadership umbrella, Prosenjit will focus on driving consistency in governance, culture, discipline, and accountability as the organization continues its growth journey.
Prior to this transition, Prosenjit served as President & Chief Human Resources Officer at Kalamandir Jewellers Ltd., where he played a critical role in shaping the organization’s human capital strategy during a phase of transformation. He worked closely with leadership to align governance, culture, and performance, while supporting the organization’s journey toward institutionalization and scalable leadership systems.
Before joining Kalamandir, he spent over six years as Global Chief Human Resources Officer at SRKay Consulting Group, leading human capital strategy across multiple geographies including India, the UK, USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and the Philippines. During this tenure, he drove initiatives focused on Workplace 4.0 transformation, succession planning at the CXO level, and global capability building, while strengthening employer branding and organizational scalability.
Earlier, Prosenjit held the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Azure Knowledge Corporation, where he contributed to scaling the organization’s workforce across global markets and establishing strong HR frameworks. He played a key role in building global delivery capabilities, strengthening operational excellence, and supporting the company’s recognition through international certifications and industry accolades.
He also served as Head of Human Resources at KocharTech, where he led the full spectrum of HR functions including policy formulation, performance management, compensation, and employee engagement, helping build a structured and growth-oriented HR ecosystem.
Prosenjit began his professional journey at Aegis Limited, where he progressed across multiple roles from operations to talent acquisition leadership, gaining deep exposure to large-scale hiring, employee lifecycle management, and HR process excellence, laying the foundation for his future leadership roles.
