Colombo, Sri Lanka, December 2024 – Rahul Attanayake has joined Bally’s Colombo as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this pivotal role, Rahul will oversee the casino’s HR strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development. His extensive experience across diverse industries positions him to drive HR excellence and align people strategies with business goals.
Rahul most recently served as Training Manager at MotiVista Apex Pvt. Ltd., where he led employee development programs and facilitated skill enhancement initiatives for over four years. His part-time leadership in this role highlights his dedication to empowering teams and fostering continuous learning.
He concurrently held the position of Channel Manager – Endowment at Softlogic Life, a tenure spanning nearly eight years. In this role, Rahul managed strategic channel operations, contributed to business growth, and drove customer-centric initiatives in Colombo’s competitive insurance sector.
In addition to his corporate roles, Rahul demonstrated exceptional leadership as Multiple District President – Sri Lanka & Maldives at Leo Multiple District Council 306 during 2022-2023. He also served as District President for Leo District 306 C2 Sri Lanka from 2020 to 2021, showcasing his ability to lead and inspire teams in nonprofit environments.
Earlier in his career, Rahul gained valuable experience as an Executive at CL Synergy Pvt. Ltd. and a Junior Executive at EFL, further honing his skills in operations and logistics.
