Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Rahul Gattani has been elevated to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Starbucks India. In his new position, he will lead the company’s finance function across financial planning & analysis (FP&A), accounting, taxation, treasury, and finance transformation, playing a pivotal role in driving disciplined growth, strengthening financial governance, and supporting Starbucks India’s long-term strategic expansion.
Rahul brings extensive leadership experience in finance across the retail and food & beverage sectors, with a proven track record of driving financial strategy, business partnering, operational excellence, and transformation. His elevation reflects the confidence placed in his ability to further strengthen Starbucks India’s financial foundation while supporting the company’s continued growth and market leadership.
Prior to assuming the CFO role, Rahul served as General Manager at Starbucks India, following an earlier tenure of more than eight years with the company as General Manager – Finance, where he played a key role in strengthening financial operations and supporting the brand’s expansion across India. His deep understanding of the business and finance ecosystem positions him well to lead the organization’s next phase of growth.
Before rejoining Starbucks India, Rahul was Brand CFO at Reliance Brands Limited, where he oversaw financial strategy for the brand portfolio. Earlier, he served as Head of Finance at Tim Hortons India, contributing to the financial leadership of the quick-service restaurant brand during its growth journey in India. He also held a managerial finance role at Essar Group, laying the foundation for a career spanning strategic finance, governance, and business transformation.
As Chief Financial Officer, Rahul will continue to work closely with business leaders to enhance financial performance, drive operational efficiencies, strengthen governance frameworks, and enable sustainable growth as Starbucks India expands its footprint across the country.
