New Delhi, India, July 2026 — Shaurya Foundation Trust has appointed Raja Natarajan as its Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2026. He joins the organization at a significant stage in its journey to create sustainable opportunities for neurodivergent adults through employment, independent living, and long-term support systems.
Sharing the news, Raja Natarajan described the appointment as “a new chapter filled with purpose, humility, hope and a deep desire to make a difference.” In his new role, he will lead the Trust’s mission of supporting neurodivergent adults through skill development, suitable employment opportunities, independent living initiatives, and addressing the critical question of “what after parents.”
Raja brings more than four decades of leadership experience spanning finance, operations, administration, and nonprofit management across diverse sectors. Before joining Shaurya Foundation Trust, he served as Senior Advisor – Care Operations at Samarth Care and earlier as Head of Operations at Safe in India Foundation, where he contributed to initiatives focused on worker safety, healthcare access, and social security. His recent leadership journey also includes serving as Executive Director – Finance & Operations at Shiv Nadar University, Chief Operating Officer & CFO at Make A Difference, and Director – Finance, HR & Administration at Piramal Foundation.
Earlier in his career, Raja held senior leadership positions including Deputy Managing Director at SAGE Publications India, CFO (India & Sri Lanka) at TNS India Pvt. Ltd., Vice President (Finance) at Bilcare Ltd., Senior Director – Finance & Shared Services, Asia Pacific at Ariba India Pvt. Ltd., Financial Controller – India at DHL Worldwide Express, and National Commercial & Finance Manager at Marico Limited, building extensive expertise in finance, operations, governance, and organizational leadership.
