Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, April 2026 – Avantor has announced the promotion of Ramarathinam M K to Director – HR Shared Services, recognizing his strong contributions in driving HR operations excellence and global people services. In this expanded role, he will lead HR shared services strategy, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, employee experience, and scalable HR service delivery across the organization.
Prior to this promotion, Ramarathinam M K served as Senior Manager – HR Shared Services at Avantor, where he played a key role in strengthening HR service delivery frameworks and driving operational efficiencies across regions.
Earlier, he held the role of Associate Director – Global People Services at RM India, contributing to global HR operations and service excellence initiatives.
Before this, he worked with FLSmidth as Head of People Experience – Eastern Hub, where he led employee experience and HR transformation initiatives, focusing on building seamless and engaging HR processes across geographies.
He also gained international experience at Nokia Solutions & Networks Kft as an HR Operations Analyst, followed by roles at Nokia Solutions & Networks India Pvt Ltd and Nokia India Pvt Ltd as HR Specialist, where he built deep expertise in HR operations, shared services, and global HR processes.
He began his career with HCL BPO as an SAP Coordinator, laying the foundation for his expertise in HR systems and operations.
