Vadodara, Gujarat, India, April 2025 – Ranjeet Kshirsagar has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Lactose India Ltd, marking a significant milestone in the company’s leadership journey. In this role, he will be responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and innovation across the company’s pharmaceutical and nutraceutical business lines.
Before taking on the CEO position, Ranjeet Kshirsagar served as Chief Operating Officer at Lactose India Ltd for nearly three years. He played a pivotal role in scaling operations, streamlining processes, and preparing the company for its next phase of growth, especially in contract manufacturing and active ingredient development.
Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer – Head of India Operations and Projects at a startup in the chemical and polymer resource recycling industry. There, he spearheaded sustainable business expansions with a focus on circular economy principles—reduce, recycle, and reuse—establishing scalable green operations.
Ranjeet also served as Managing Director (Head India Projects & Operations) at Ecophos by Prayon and held multiple leadership roles over seven years at Clariant, including Head of Operations and later Operational Excellence – APAC Region, where he led lean and six sigma programs across pharmaceutical and specialty chemical divisions.
Earlier in his career, he held engineering and project leadership roles at Calyx Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd, and contributed significantly to greenfield projects, regulatory compliance (USFDA, WHO), and infrastructure revamps in both API and formulations manufacturing.
