Greater Sydney Area, Australia, September 2024 — Rebekka Squire has been appointed as the Head of People Experience at Rest. In her new role, Rebekka will be responsible for leading culture transformation, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, among other key areas. Her expertise in shaping people strategies will play a crucial role in enhancing employee experience and driving Rest’s commitment to excellence.
Rebekka has been with Rest for just under a year, where she initially joined as a strategic leader working on culture transformation and people experience strategy. Her portfolio includes leadership in areas such as employee listening, ways of working, recognition, DE&I, wellbeing, and EVP.
Before joining Rest, Rebekka worked on Strategic OD Projects under a fixed-term contract for eight months in 2024. In this role, she led projects in culture, inclusion, leadership, and employee engagement.
Prior to that, Rebekka served as the Director of Leadership, Capability & Engagement at Sydney Metro for over a year, where her responsibilities spanned leadership development, workforce capability, and employee engagement.
Rebekka has also held senior positions at organizations such as AMP and Allianz Australia, where she focused on organizational development, culture transformation, and employee experience. Her extensive experience in these areas has consistently driven success in the HR field, contributing to enhanced organizational effectiveness and employee well-being.
