Santa Monica, California, United States, August 2024 – Reena Rai has been promoted to the role of Senior Director, People Operations at GumGum, a recognition of her impactful contributions and leadership within the organization. In her new role, Reena will continue to lead the people operations strategy, ensuring the company’s culture, employee engagement, and HR processes align with GumGum’s growth objectives.
Prior to this promotion, Reena served as Director, People Operations at GumGum for six years, where she was pivotal in shaping and executing HR strategies that enhanced employee experience and organizational performance.
Before joining GumGum, Reena was the HR Manager (Head of HR) at Edmodo for over three years. In this role, she successfully established HR credibility, led complex employee relations investigations, and managed full-cycle recruiting, among other HR functions.
Earlier in her career, Reena worked as an HR Generalist at Edmodo, where she was instrumental in implementing HR policies, managing employee onboarding and exits, and enhancing the company’s culture through various initiatives.
Reena’s HR journey began at Finisar Corporation as an HR Representative, where she gained extensive experience in compliance, onboarding, and employee relations, setting the stage for her successful career in human resources.
