Thane, Maharashtra, India, July 2024 – Rekha Desai has joined BioGenomics Ltd. as the new Head-Human Resources. With extensive experience in human resource management and organizational development, Rekha will lead HR operations to support the company’s strategic goals and enhance its workforce capabilities.
Rekha Desai has started her role as the Head-Human Resources at BioGenomics Ltd. Based in Thane, Maharashtra, India, she will oversee HR strategies, employee engagement, and talent management to drive organizational success.
Previously, Rekha served as the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) at SBICAP Trustee Company Limited, where she managed HR functions across the country. She spearheaded strategic HR initiatives, institutionalized HR management systems, and was instrumental in building the company’s brand image as an employer of choice, leading to prestigious HR awards.
Prior to SBICAP, Rekha worked as a Senior Human Resources Consultant with Global Companies, where she led recruitment process outsourcing projects, set up HR functions, and facilitated organizational development and growth initiatives.
At Nelito Systems Ltd., Rekha was the Head-HR & Admin. She led HR solutions for over 1200 employees across multiple locations in India, created annual HR budgets and strategies, and successfully integrated HR functions during the acquisition of Nelito by DTS Corporation, Japan.
Earlier in her career, Rekha served in various roles at Accelya Kale Solutions Limited, including Associate Vice President-Human Resources. She headed HR for over 1100 employees across multiple locations, developed talent management strategies, and drove change management initiatives during the integration of Accelya and Kale Consultants Ltd.
