Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States, July 2026 — Terumo Cardiovascular has expanded the responsibilities of Rhonda DeLuca, appointing her as Chief Operating Officer while she continues to serve as Chief People Officer. In her dual leadership role, she will oversee both the company’s operational strategy and global people agenda, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to operational excellence, leadership development, and employee engagement as it continues to advance cardiovascular healthcare solutions worldwide.
Sharing the announcement, Rhonda DeLuca said the combination of responsibilities reflects the close connection between operational performance and organizational culture.

In her expanded role, DeLuca will lead enterprise-wide operational and people strategies, ensuring manufacturing, commercial operations, and organizational capabilities remain aligned with Terumo Cardiovascular’s long-term business priorities. She will continue driving leadership development, talent acquisition, culture transformation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Rhonda DeLuca has spent nearly 20 years with Terumo Cardiovascular, steadily progressing through a series of senior leadership positions. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Americas Operations & Chief People Officer, where she reported directly to the Chief Executive Officer while partnering with the Global Chief Human Resources Officer to establish a global HR strategy and oversee operations supporting the division’s revenue, production, and profitability objectives.
Earlier, she held the positions of Senior Vice President, Global HR & Latin American Country Leader, Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources, Vice President, Human Resources, and Director, Human Resources, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global people strategy and leadership capabilities.
Before joining Terumo Cardiovascular in 2006, DeLuca served as Director, Human Resources at Magna International – Intier Automotive Interiors, where she led HR strategy across multiple manufacturing locations in North America, managed complex labour negotiations, established HR policies, and supported the launch of Magna’s first joint venture in China.
She previously spent six years with Tower Automotive, providing strategic HR leadership across seven manufacturing plants employing more than 2,200 people, and began her career with Eaton Corporation as a Human Resources Supervisor.
DeLuca holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy.
