Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Ria Behl has been appointed as Vice President – HR Business Advisor at JPMorganChase. In this role, Ria will be instrumental in shaping HR strategies, providing leadership advisory, and fostering employee engagement to support the firm’s business objectives across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Ria brings over two years of experience at J.P. Morgan, where she previously served as HR Business Advisor. During her tenure, she demonstrated expertise in supporting business leaders with strategic HR initiatives, aligning employee goals with organizational priorities, and driving cultural transformation.
Prior to joining JPMorganChase, Ria held various roles at Marriott International, including Manager of Human Resources Services. Over her four years at the organization, she streamlined HR operations, enhanced employee experience, and introduced innovative talent management solutions. Her contributions to Marriott’s HR strategy left a lasting impact on their Mumbai operations.
Earlier in her career, Ria worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where she progressed from Management Trainee to Senior Executive Human Resources. She was pivotal in implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and supporting organizational development initiatives. Ria began her career as an Intern at JW Marriott Mumbai, gaining foundational experience in human resources.
