Prior to her current position, she was the Global Human Resources Business Partner and Director for the Clinical Diagnostics Division from May 2022 to May 2024. Amanda’s expertise in talent strategy, organizational development, and workforce planning has been instrumental in her swift career advancement within the company.
In her new role as Senior Director, Amanda will oversee human resources strategies that support the Specialty Diagnostics Group’s ambitious goals in emerging markets and group functions. Her responsibilities include driving talent development initiatives, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and ensuring the strategic alignment of HR practices with business objectives.
Before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, Amanda held significant HR roles at various prestigious organizations. She was a Senior Manager of Human Resources at Viral Vector Services, part of Thermo Fisher’s Pharmaceutical Services Group, from December 2020 to May 2022, where she refined her skills in managing complex HR functions in the pharmaceutical sector.
Her earlier experiences include serving as an Area Human Resources Business Partner at Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska, and as a Manager at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium. These roles have equipped her with a robust understanding of HR dynamics in diverse organizational settings.
