Singapore, May 2026 – Richard Bracken has started a new position as Chief Operations Officer at Manulife Singapore, where he will lead the company’s operations function in one of Asia’s most dynamic financial services markets.
Prior to joining Manulife Singapore, Richard Bracken was associated with Chubb, where he most recently served as Head of Strategic Partnership Development, APAC, Japan and International Digital. In this expanded leadership role, he focused on driving growth through strategic partnerships, digital insurance propositions, and AI-driven sales strategies across Asia Pacific and international markets.
Earlier at Chubb, he held the position of Regional Head of Consumer Partnerships, APAC, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s partnership ecosystem and driving digital and embedded insurance growth across the region.
Before Chubb, Richard was associated with Coherent, where he served as Global Chief Revenue Officer and earlier as Managing Director – South East Asia. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to the company’s international expansion, scaling annual recurring revenue and supporting major insurance technology transformation programs globally.
He also worked with NN Group as Head of Strategic Execution, supporting strategic transformation initiatives and agile operating model implementation across multiple countries.
Earlier in his career, Richard held leadership roles at AIA, where he served as Chief Operating Officer in the Philippines and Head of Operations Transformation for the region, leading large-scale digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives.
His extensive transformation and operational leadership background also includes roles at ING and ANZ, where he led strategic transformation, process automation, operational productivity, and lean transformation initiatives across global teams.
