A seasoned technology and data governance leader, Rinkan Patel assumes this role following a distinguished multi-year tenure within WWT, where he played a central role in shaping consulting services, enterprise architecture, and data governance strategy for global clients.
Prior to this appointment, Rinkan Patel served at World Wide Technology as Managing Principal (Consulting Services) & Head of Data Governance, where he led large-scale advisory engagements, built governance frameworks, and strengthened enterprise data strategy for complex digital transformation programs. Earlier at WWT, he held roles as Chief Architect & Head of Data Governance, Chief Architect, and Senior Enterprise Architect, establishing himself as a trusted advisor on cloud architecture, analytics modernization, and Workday technology integration.
Alongside his corporate responsibilities, Rinkan Patel has contributed to academia through the Northern Arizona University – W. A. Franke College of Business, serving as Advisory Council Member and later President – IS Advisory Council, supporting curriculum modernization and industry–academia collaboration. He also undertook a consulting engagement with Washington University in St. Louis as Interim Director of Data Governance and Workday Technology Lead, guiding data conversion and integrations for enterprise systems.
Earlier, he was Vice President – Product Development & Data Management at International Cruise & Excursions (now arrivia), and Director of Information Architecture & Data Governance at PetSmart, where he led enterprise data strategy and architecture modernization. His professional foundation was built through impactful roles at Republic Services and Systems Evolution, Inc., where he delivered BI, data warehousing, and program management solutions for Fortune 500 clients, followed by technical leadership assignments across Cox Communications, Microstrategy, and Information Technology Services.
