Rishi Khanna, a seasoned banking professional with a prolific career spanning over two decades in various leadership roles, steps into his new position with a wealth of experience and expertise. Khanna’s journey at DBS Bank began five years and ten months ago, where he has since been instrumental in leading strategic HR initiatives, talent acquisition, and management, as well as spearheading diversity and equity programs across the organization.

Prior to his elevation to the role of Senior Vice President & HR COO, Khanna served as the Talent Acquisition Lead for the Consumer Banking Group at DBS Bank India. His role was pivotal in shaping the bank’s talent strategy and ensuring the acquisition of top-tier talent to drive the bank’s consumer banking division forward.

Khanna’s career trajectory also includes significant stints at YES Bank, where he was responsible for the SME business in the Gurgaon and Manesar geography, and at ICICI Bank, where he managed the 30 Crore ICICI Bank Gujrawala Town branch. His early career saw him making impactful contributions at Standard Chartered Bank and Aztec Exim Pvt. Ltd.

Educated at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and the ICFAI Business School, Khanna brings a deep understanding of business strategy, human resource management, and financial services to his new role at DBS Bank. His appointment is set against the backdrop of DBS Bank’s stellar reputation as a leading financial services group in Asia, known for its innovative approach to banking and commitment to safety and excellence in service.

Khanna’s role as Senior Vice President & HR COO will see him responsible for HR COO and Analytics at DBS India, a testament to the bank’s strategic focus on leveraging data and analytics to enhance HR functions and overall operational efficiency. His extensive skills in HR strategy, talent management, and leadership are expected to further DBS Bank’s vision of shaping the future of banking through innovation and strategic initiatives.

DBS Bank, with its high credit ratings and accolades as the “World’s Best Bank” and “World’s Best Digital Bank,” continues to lead the way in digital banking and innovation. Khanna’s leadership is anticipated to play a crucial role in furthering the bank’s mission to provide seamless and cutting-edge banking solutions to its customers across Asia.
