New Delhi, Delhi, India, February 2025 – Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. (JSPL) has appointed Ritesh Mohan Srivastava as its Chief AI Officer. In this role, he will lead AI-driven transformation initiatives across the company’s operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency, quality, and sustainability. With extensive experience in artificial intelligence, data science, and business intelligence, he will play a key role in optimizing production processes, improving safety, and integrating AI-based solutions to drive innovation in the manufacturing and power sectors.
Before joining Jindal Steel & Power, Srivastava served as Chief Data Scientist at BharatPe for nearly three years, where he led data science, AI, engineering, and business intelligence teams. His leadership contributed to the development of AI-driven business strategies, automation, and analytics across multiple product lines, including Lending, QR, Swipe, P2P, BNPL, and Credit Cards.
Prior to BharatPe, he was AD – Data Science, Digital & Advanced Analytics at Novartis, where he played a key role in leveraging AI for healthcare innovation and digital transformation. His work involved AI-powered data solutions for improving patient care, operational efficiencies, and predictive analytics.
Earlier in his career, he held senior analytics roles at Yatra Online, CarDekho Group, Lowe’s Companies, Inc., and 3i Infotech Ltd. At Yatra Online, he was Head – Advanced Analytics and Decision Sciences, focusing on data-driven business intelligence and customer insights. His tenure at CarDekho Group as Senior Manager – Analytics involved developing predictive models to enhance consumer engagement and business performance.
His early career included data analytics and business intelligence roles at Socialsight and 3i Infotech, where he gained expertise in AI, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making.
