In his new role, Robert will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of cutting-edge training programs designed to equip cybersecurity professionals with both technical and soft skills. His leadership will be instrumental in advancing the District’s mission to close the cybersecurity talent gap by providing essential tools, industry knowledge, and mentorship to professionals across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and the Nordics.
Robert van der Zwart most recently founded AIPO NETWORK, where he has been driving the organization’s mission to provide managerial education for the AI era. Over the past year and four months, Robert has leveraged his entrepreneurial experience to build a global network of academic professionals and industry experts, fostering knowledge sharing and equipping individuals with the skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Before founding AIPO NETWORK, Robert co-founded MEDtalks.com, where he spent nearly five years leading the development of online Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, virtual events, and news programs for medical professionals. His leadership and innovative approach to digital strategy and business development were key factors in the success of MEDtalks.
Earlier in his career, Robert was the Director and Co-owner of QUADIA Online Video BV, a market leader in the production of innovative online video formats and channels. During his 15-year tenure, Robert played a crucial role in establishing Quadia as a leading provider of online video solutions for sectors such as healthcare, banking, and professional services.
Robert’s experience also includes significant academic contributions as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at both Nyenrode Business University and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He has a strong background in marketing strategy, with a focus on pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, making him a well-rounded leader in both the academic and corporate arenas.
