STOCKTON, Calif., USA — Kevin’s Natural Foods has named Roxanne Bernstein as Chief Executive Officer as part of its ongoing growth strategy, following its recent acquisition by Mars and a period of significant sales increases. Bernstein’s extensive experience in the food and beverage industry positions her well to guide the company through its next development phase.

Leadership for Continued Expansion

Roxanne Bernstein brings two decades of robust experience from her previous roles at major industry players like Kraft, Kellogg’s, and Post, and most recently as Executive Vice President and President of ACCO Brands. Her strategic insight and disciplined, agile leadership style are expected to drive Kevin’s Natural Foods to new heights in the healthy food sector.

“Roxanne’s style of leadership and her impressive experience scaling and driving food brands make her the perfect choice to lead Kevin’s Natural Foods into the next stage of growth, harnessing the agility, culture, and customer obsession the business has thrived on,” said Shaid Shah, Global President for Mars Food & Nutrition.

Under Bernstein’s direction, the company aims to continue its rapid market expansion and innovation, following a 50% growth in sales in 2023 and a successful launch of its frozen food portfolio in early 2024.

Transition and Future Directions

As Bernstein prepares to take the helm by July 1, 2024, Kevin’s Natural Foods is positioned to maintain its trajectory of innovation and market disruption. “As a passionate believer in the important role healthy and tasty food can play in our lives, I am honored and humbled by the opportunity to lead Kevin’s Natural Foods and build on the remarkable success the business has had to date,” Bernstein remarked.

The company’s founders, Kevin McCray, Dan Costa, and Kelsie Costa, have announced their decision to step down after a transitional period to focus on family, confident in Bernstein’s capability to lead. “I am incredibly proud of what Kevin’s Natural Foods has accomplished in only four years, and I can’t think of a better person to lead the brand into the future,” said McCray.

About Kevin’s Natural Foods

Founded on Kevin McCray’s personal health journey and transformation through a paleo-friendly diet, the brand offers a range of sous-vide entrées and signature sauces that allow for quick, healthy meal preparation.
