In this new role, Roy will be responsible for overseeing Clinch’s financial operations, enhancing financial planning and strategy, and supporting the company’s growth initiatives. His leadership aims to drive sustainable profitability, optimize operational processes, and align Clinch’s financial strategies with its broader business goals.
Before joining Clinch, Roy was the Chief Financial Officer at Opsys Technologies, where he led the financial strategy for nearly three years. His tenure at Opsys was marked by implementing advanced financial processes, driving strategic negotiations, and managing global operations. He focused on optimizing capital structure, managing investor relations, and ensuring compliance, contributing to the company’s rapid expansion in the LiDAR technology sector.
Prior to Opsys, Roy served as the Chief Financial Officer at Zebra Medical Vision, later acquired by Nano-X Imaging. During his time there, Roy played a pivotal role in positioning the company for a $200M acquisition. He managed critical financial operations, strategic investment rounds, and legal processes, solidifying Zebra Medical Vision’s standing in the medical AI sector.
Earlier in his career, Roy was the SVP of Finance & Accounting at Digital Domain, where he managed North American operations, leading a team of finance professionals. His tenure involved launching studios in India and Montreal, negotiating multimillion-dollar deals, and implementing ERP systems to enhance financial reporting and compliance.
Roy’s experience also includes his role as CFO/Head of Finance at Channel Factory, where he managed debt restructuring, led an investment round by Cheetah Mobile, and focused on strategic financial planning. His contributions in mergers, acquisitions, and capital structure management further demonstrate his comprehensive financial expertise.
