Ruth Simpson Ascends to Chief Commercial Officer at Princes Limited

Liverpool, England, United Kingdom, May 2024 – Princes Limited is thrilled to announce the promotion of Ruth Simpson to Chief Commercial Officer. With nearly two decades of dedicated service and strategic leadership within the company, Ruth is set to enhance her contributions in her new role overseeing commercial strategies and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.

Career Journey at Princes Limited Ruth Simpson has been an integral part of Princes Limited for over 19 years, serving most recently as the Group Customer Strategy & Planning Director from October 2022 to May 2024. In this role, she led the Customer Strategy & Planning function, significantly impacting revenue growth management, category management, brand marketing, and marketing activation.

Prior to this, she held the title of Group Director Foods and Marketing from April 2018 until October 2022, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and commercial management skills.

Previous Experience Before her long tenure at Princes Limited, Ruth was deeply involved in various roles across the food and marketing sectors. She served as the Corporate Relations Director at Princes from May 2011 to April 2017, where she spearheaded the development of the corporate brand identity and managed all corporate communications.

From September 2009 to May 2011, she was the Marketing Director at Princes, responsible for overseeing marketing activities for a wide range of food products and leading significant brand and category development efforts.

Earlier Career Summary Ruth’s early career included significant roles at Kavli Ltd and as a Marketing Manager at Princes, where she developed strategic business plans and managed major product portfolios. Her foundational experiences in the industry were shaped by roles in market research and product management, contributing to her comprehensive understanding of the food and beverage sector.
