Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, June 2025 – Sachin Rastogi has started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Co. Ltd. In this key leadership role, Sachin will be responsible for spearheading HR strategy and driving employee experience for the rapidly expanding general insurance company.
Before this, Sachin spent over eleven years at PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd, rising through several leadership roles including Director Corporate HR & Employee Experience and Director – Distribution HR. He led HR business partnership for corporate and global functions, built organization-wide Centers of Excellence, and crafted strategies for engagement, talent, and organizational effectiveness.
Earlier, he was Vice President – Human Resources at Bharti AXA Life Insurance, where he managed HR operations and strategies for distribution, performance management, talent development, and compliance across 125 locations.
Sachin also contributed to HR transformation as AVP – Human Resources at Bharti AXA Life Insurance, acting as Zonal HR Head for North & East India, focusing on employee retention, engagement, and development.
He previously served as Head – Corporate HR at Deutsche Postbank Home Finance Limited, handling end-to-end HR operations for PAN India, and held early career HR roles at Hyundai Motor India Ltd., Tecumseh Products Company, and i-maritime Consultancy where he helped set up and streamline HR functions.
Sachin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management from the Institute For Technology and Management.
