United Kingdom, September 2025 – SignHealth has announced the appointment of Sarah Daniels as its new Chief People and Culture Officer. In this role, Daniels will join the executive team to drive the organisation’s People strategy and support SignHealth’s mission of creating a world without barriers to health and wellbeing for Deaf people.
Daniels has been with SignHealth since 2024, most recently serving as Director of People, where she aligned her professional expertise with her personal passion for the Deaf community and British Sign Language (BSL). Her contributions to organisational culture and inclusion at SignHealth laid the foundation for her elevation to the Chief People and Culture Officer role.
Before joining SignHealth, Daniels served as Interim Head of People at Habinteg, where she led the People Strategy and team in support of Habinteg’s mission to champion inclusion through accessible homes and communities. Prior to this, she was Associate Director of People at RNID, where she successfully developed and implemented a Transition Strategy, launched new organisational values, achieved significant improvements in employee engagement and retention, and spearheaded key initiatives such as Disability Confident Leaders accreditation and HRIS implementation.
Earlier, Daniels held the role of Director of People and Inclusion at We Are With You (WithYou). There, she launched a comprehensive HR metrics suite, led a new reward system design, and secured Investors in People Gold accreditation. She also served as Director of People and Organisational Development at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), where she oversaw the organisation’s first-ever People Strategy, achieving culture change, major improvements in employee engagement, and significant milestones in diversity and inclusion.
Daniels’ earlier career includes senior HR leadership roles at Marie Stopes International as Director of HR, Stroke Association as Director of HR and Workforce Development, and Rhead Group as Group HR & Organisational Development Manager. She began her HR career in learning and development with organisations such as ATS Euromaster, Accalia Consultancy Limited, and Sanctuary Group, following a decade with West Mercia Police where she advanced from Police Trainer to Curriculum Design Manager. She also gained early managerial experience at Marks and Spencer as Store Administered Manager.
