Istanbul, Turkey – Bilyoner, the leading online betting platform in Turkey, has announced Selin Esencan Baykal as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. Baykal brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of driving HR initiatives that enhance organizational growth and employee satisfaction.
Before her new role at Bilyoner, Baykal was the Head of People at n11.com (@Getir), where she played a pivotal role from April 2022 to May 2024. Her responsibilities included overseeing HR operations that supported rapid business expansion and enhancing employee engagement across the organization.
Prior to n11.com, Baykal served as People Director for International Expansion at Getir. During her tenure from July 2021 to April 2022, she was instrumental in establishing HR frameworks that supported the company’s aggressive international growth strategies.
From March 2021 to May 2021, she held the position of People Director, Central Functions at Getir, focusing on optimizing central operational functions through strategic HR initiatives.
Before joining Getir, Baykal was a Regional HR Strategic Business Partner at The Coca-Cola Company in Istanbul, from December 2018 to March 2021. She played a key role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives across the region, significantly enhancing organizational efficiency.
Her earlier roles also include significant tenures at Roche and Estée Lauder Companies, where she led various HR functions, contributing to each organization’s HR development and policy implementation.
