This move comes as part of the company’s strategic internal reorganisation within its recruitment vertical, aimed at strengthening its consumer marketing and business leadership.
With over 18 years of experience across leading global and Indian brands, including Amazon, Nestlé, PepsiCo, and ITC Limited, Shail has consistently driven brand growth, innovation, and customer engagement. At Info Edge, he earlier served as Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing, leading campaigns that elevated brand equity across flagship platforms — Naukri.com, 99acres.com, Jeevansathi.com, and Shiksha.com — integrating data-led insights with creative storytelling to deepen customer connections.
Prior to Info Edge, Shail held the position of Head of Brand Marketing at Amazon, where he led initiatives to strengthen brand resonance and drive consumer adoption. During his tenure at Nestlé, he managed the MAGGI noodles and Dairy portfolios, driving market expansion and innovation. Earlier in his career, he made significant contributions at PepsiCo and ITC Limited, where he built his foundation in brand strategy, consumer insights, and go-to-market execution.
A graduate of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, Shail’s deep understanding of consumer behaviour, digital ecosystems, and marketing analytics uniquely positions him to lead Info Edge’s next phase of B2C growth and innovation across its diverse portfolio.
