In her new role, Fong will lead the human capital management function for NETS Group, overseeing people strategy, talent development, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and workforce initiatives that support the company’s continued growth and digital transformation agenda. Her appointment underscores NETS’ commitment to strengthening its people capabilities as it advances its position as a leading payments services group in Singapore and the region.

Prior to joining NETS, Fong spent over six years at Barclays, where she held senior regional leadership positions including APAC Head of HR Delivery & Advisory and APAC HRBP Lead. Before Barclays, she served as Regional Head of Talent Management at MUFG, where she was responsible for advancing talent strategies and leadership development programs across the region. Earlier, she spent nearly five years with JPMorgan Chase as Executive Director, HR, providing regional HR leadership across 11 Asia-Pacific markets and supporting senior management teams across finance, risk, technology, operations, communications, marketing, and strategy functions.

Fong’s extensive career also includes leadership roles at State Bank of India, where she established and led the bank’s HR function in Singapore during a period of business expansion, as well as nearly five years at SingTel, where she served as a senior HR business partner and talent management leader. She began her financial services HR leadership journey with Standard Chartered Bank, supporting the consumer banking business as an HR manager. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for aligning talent strategies with business objectives and driving organizational excellence across complex regional environments.
