Faridabad, Haryana, India, July 2026 — Imperial Auto Industries has appointed Shyam Mishra as General Manager – HRBP, reinforcing its people leadership as the company continues to strengthen organizational capability and support business growth across its manufacturing operations.
In his new role, Shyam will serve as the HR Business Partner across the Group’s businesses, collaborating closely with senior leadership to align business strategy with the people agenda. He will lead key initiatives spanning Talent Management, Organization Development, Culture Transformation, Leadership Development, Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Retention, HR Transformation, and HR Digitalization. He will also partner with plant leadership teams to enhance productivity, capability building, and organizational effectiveness across manufacturing operations.
Prior to joining Imperial Auto Industries, Shyam served as Divisional Head (Senior HRBP) at Knorr-Bremse AG, where he partnered with business leaders on strategic HR initiatives for one of the world’s leading braking systems manufacturers. Earlier, he was Manager (Lead HRBP) at Wonder Cement Ltd., leading people initiatives across business operations.
Before that, he worked as Deputy Manager (HRBP – APAC) at Spark Minda, supporting regional HR business partnering across Asia-Pacific operations. He also spent over four years with Bridgestone India as Junior Manager – HR, following an earlier tenure of more than four years with MAHLE, where he built a strong foundation in manufacturing HR and people management.
With over 13 years of HR leadership experience, Shyam has developed expertise in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Organization Development, Leadership Development, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, HR Transformation, HR Digitalization, Manufacturing HR, Plant HR, Change Management, and Organizational Effectiveness.
His appointment reflects Imperial Auto Industries’ continued investment in strengthening its people capabilities to support operational excellence, leadership development, and sustainable business growth.
