Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, September 2025 — Siba Satapathy has joined GlobalLogic as Chief Growth & Transformation Officer, bringing with him over two decades of industry expertise and leadership experience across technology, engineering, and business transformation. In this new role, he will spearhead large-scale growth initiatives and strengthen GlobalLogic’s transformation journey worldwide.
Prior to this appointment, Satapathy served as Executive Vice President at HCLTech from 2023 to 2025, where he played a key role in driving growth, particularly within Engineering and R&D Services. He unified fragmented business units under a coherent transportation sector strategy, enabling accelerated revenue growth, strategic client acquisitions, market expansion, and industry recognition. His vision for Software Defined Mobility (SDM) has been central in shaping strategies across automotive, aerospace, defense, rail, marine, and advanced air mobility sectors.
Between 2017 and 2023, he served as Senior Vice President and later Head of the Transportation Sector at HCLTech, leading Aerospace & Defense (A&D) operations globally. He was a pioneer in establishing HCLTech’s A&D vertical, driving more than 10x growth and positioning it as an industry leader. He also played a pivotal role in HCLTech’s entry into the US Defense/ITAR market, setting up the first ITAR-compliant delivery center in Cary, North Carolina in 2008, and advancing the company’s global defense strategy through acquisitions, including Butler America Aerospace, where he later served as a Board Member.
Earlier in his career, Satapathy worked with HCL America from 2005 to 2014, where he rose from Sr. Sales Director to AVP & Head of Aerospace & Defense, North America. Before that, he gained leadership experience with FutureTech Consultants as Business Development Manager, Wipro Infotech Ltd as Senior Account Manager, and Whirlpool Corporation as Branch Service Executive, giving him early grounding in sales, service, and client management.
In addition to his corporate roles, Satapathy has also been a Board Member at Butler Aerospace & Defense (2018–2025) and ASAP Gruppe (2023–2025), showcasing his strategic influence and governance expertise across global organizations. His contributions reflect a career defined by business strategy, P&L leadership, international expansion, and transformative client solutions.
