Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 – Sreelakshmi Hariharan has taken over as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at ECube Investment Advisors, marking a significant leadership transition for the ESG-focused financial services and advisory platform. In her new role, she will lead ECube’s mission of building institutions that power India’s sustainability transition by combining capital, platforms, and partnerships across the climate and ESG ecosystem.
At ECube, Sreelakshmi will oversee the deployment of capital, incubation of climate finance ventures, and ecosystem engagement. The firm’s portfolio includes a climate-positive private equity fund (One Planet Partners), a sustainability trading platform in partnership with the Stock Exchange of Mauritius, a digital engagement platform (Earth Inherited) in collaboration with The Indian Express, and a strategic advisory business focused on ESG and climate transitions. Her appointment signals ECube’s continued emphasis on governance, long-term thinking, and disciplined execution as it scales its impact across India and the Global South.
Prior to this role, Sreelakshmi served as Vice President – Service Business at Eureka Forbes Ltd, where she led large-scale business operations. Earlier, she was Business Head – Diagnostics & Head – Brand Marketing at Tata 1mg, driving growth across healthcare diagnostics and brand strategy. Her tenure at TATA SONS LIMITED included leadership roles such as General Manager and Deputy General Manager – Brand Custodian’s Office, where she spearheaded group-level brand strategy, sustainability positioning, employer branding, and thought leadership initiatives for the Tata Corporate brand.
Earlier in her career, she held strategic and operational leadership roles at Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, including Corporate Director – Business Operations, and was part of the prestigious Tata Administrative Services (TAS) cadre, contributing across Tata Tea, Tata Capital, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, and Titan Industries on projects spanning private equity, new product launches, business development, and strategy. She holds a PGDM in Marketing from SPJIMR and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
