Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 — JioStar, one of the world’s fastest-growing media and entertainment powerhouses, has appointed Srijith Jagdish as its new Senior Vice President – Entertainment Ad Sales, strengthening its commercial leadership as the company continues to scale its advertising and content monetisation ecosystem across India and global markets.
In his new role, Srijith Jagdish will lead entertainment advertising sales strategy at JioStar, driving revenue growth, brand partnerships and advertiser engagement across its expansive television and streaming platforms that collectively reach over 750 million viewers every week.
Before stepping into this leadership role, Srijith Jagdish spent close to a year at JioStar as Head – Emerging Markets, where he helped strengthen market expansion strategies and advertiser acquisition frameworks across new and high-growth segments.
Prior to JioStar, he spent nearly three years at Disney+ Hotstar, where he played a key role in scaling the platform’s advertising revenue engine. As Head – SMB Ads Revenue, he led the growth charter for Small and Medium Business advertisers, and earlier as Director – LCS Ads Revenue, he drove category monetisation across Auto, BFSI and F&B portfolios.
Srijith brings deep brand and sales leadership experience from his long tenure of over seventeen years at Mahindra & Mahindra, where he held multiple senior leadership roles across sales and brand management. His leadership journey at Mahindra included heading marquee SUV portfolios such as XUV, Scorpio and Bolero, managing regional sales, and leading flagship brand strategy and market expansion initiatives across India.
He holds an MBA in Marketing from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
