As Group CFO, Mathur will be responsible for driving fiscal excellence and supporting the group’s strategic growth initiatives across various business verticals. His appointment follows a distinguished tenure at Emaar India, where he served in the dual capacity of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, playing a pivotal role in operational restructuring and financial stabilization.

Before HCL, Mathur served as General Manager – Finance at Indus Towers Limited, where he supervised a 100+ member team and led large-scale Oracle ERP implementation projects. He managed corporate financial accounting and reporting aligned with IFRS and Ind AS, oversaw statutory and regulatory compliance, and handled financial operations across multiple regional circles.

His earlier professional foundation includes a decade-long tenure at JCB, where he managed finance operations across manufacturing plants and supported SAP implementation and IFRS transition. He also held key roles at Bharti Airtel Limited, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd., and began his career with S.S Kothari & Co., building extensive expertise in financial management, compliance, ERP transformation, and operational leadership.

With nearly three decades of experience across real estate, telecommunications, and manufacturing, Mathur now spearheads the global financial mandate for Sterlite Group, leveraging his deep expertise in IFRS, Ind AS, ERP transformations, and enterprise restructuring.
