With a strong track record of scaling digital platforms and building high-performing teams, Rishabh will lead Amazon Music’s efforts in India to scale local music globally, enhance partnerships, and deepen consumer engagement. In his new role, he will oversee a cross-functional team of product managers, marketers, and artist relations professionals to grow the platform’s market impact and cultural relevance.
Rishabh joined Amazon Music in 2024 as Head of Strategy and Growth, where he played a crucial role in defining the platform’s strategic roadmap for India. His leadership enabled Amazon Music to strengthen its content portfolio, expand artist engagement, and create audience-specific experiences across Indian music genres. His sharp understanding of consumer behavior and digital monetization has been instrumental in setting the stage for Amazon Music’s next phase of growth.

Prior to Amazon, Rishabh spent four years at Spotify as Head of Strategy and Partnerships, where he was responsible for launching critical initiatives to build alliances, drive revenue growth, and establish Spotify as a leading audio streaming platform in India. Before that, he worked at Apple in Strategy and Partnerships, contributing to strategic expansion efforts, affordability innovations, and relationship management with key stakeholders across the tech and music ecosystems.
Rishabh’s early career was rooted in management consulting, having worked with McKinsey & Company and Monitor Deloitte, where he specialized in corporate strategy, digital transformation, and go-to-market execution. He also gained foundational experience in the financial sector as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs, honing skills in business process re-engineering and strategic planning. With over 15 years of global and cross-industry experience, Rishabh brings a comprehensive view of the tech and entertainment landscape to Amazon Music.
