New Delhi, India, September 2024 – Sudipta Biswas has taken on the role of Head of People at Leverage Edu, a fast-growing company in the education technology space. In his new position, Sudipta will lead the organization’s HR strategies, focusing on enhancing talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development to support Leverage Edu’s expanding operations.
Sudipta Biswas has spent the last three years at Leverage Edu, where he previously served as Director of Business Operations. In this role, he streamlined the student study abroad journey and managed university operations. Before that, he held the position of Associate Director of Operations, contributing significantly to operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Leverage Edu, Sudipta worked at ITC Limited for nearly five years, where he excelled in various leadership roles, including Assistant Manager Operations. At ITC, Sudipta led a team of managers and employees to achieve key business deliverables, improve operational performance, and manage high-volume production planning.
Sudipta began his professional career at ITC as a Graduate Engineering Trainee, progressing through roles in production and operations supervision. His tenure there has equipped him with a robust foundation in operations management.
Founded by Akshay Chaturvedi in 2017, Leverage Edu offers a counseling platform that helps young people choose their academic and career paths. Supported by an extensive content library, test preparation apps like LeverageLive and Leverage IELTS, and the Univalley OS for universities, Leverage Edu has grown rapidly in the education technology sector.
