Houston, Texas, United States – October 2024 – Sunil Gupta has been named the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) at TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc.. In this role, Sunil will lead the strategic development and implementation of IT systems and solutions, focusing on digital transformation and technological innovation to enhance TNT’s operational efficiency and service capabilities across North America.
Sunil Gupta has an extensive background in IT strategy and digital transformation, with over two decades of experience across multiple industries. Prior to joining TNT Crane & Rigging, he was an Independent Consultant, helping companies navigate modernization challenges through advanced technologies like IoT, business intelligence, and AI.
Before consulting, Sunil spent over ten years at Herc Rentals, where he served as the Vice President of Digital Transformation and Innovation. He was instrumental in developing the “HERC ONE” digital roadmap, leading cloud-based telematics projects, and introducing AI-driven solutions, which resulted in significant cost savings and increased operational efficiency.
Sunil’s earlier career includes roles as Director of Strategic Programs at Herc Rentals, where he played a critical role in the company’s spin-off from Hertz. He also held Senior Project Manager positions at Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank, overseeing complex IT projects and infrastructure deployments globally.
