New Delhi, Delhi, India, March 2025 – Suresh Chandra Mohapatra has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources at Kundan Group, a diversified conglomerate known for its presence across gold, precious metals, chemicals, agro commodities, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. In this new role, Suresh will oversee end-to-end HR operations across the group’s multiple business verticals, including talent acquisition for hydro, gold, and solar projects, compliance, litigation, compensation, and the entire employee lifecycle.
Before joining Kundan Group, Suresh served as Head of Human Resources at ABCI Infrastructures Pvt Ltd, where he led recruitment, compliance, policy design, and mobilization for highway and tunnel projects. His tenure saw him align project staffing requirements with contractual obligations, while also strengthening corporate HR governance.

Prior to that, he was Incharge/Head – Site P&A at AFCONS Infrastructure Limited, where he spent nearly three years managing project mobilization, site compliance, staffing, and government liaison for licenses and regulatory approvals. His extensive site-based HR leadership added immense value in the infrastructure development domain.
Earlier, Suresh was Deputy General Manager and Head – HR & Admin at ABCI Infrastructures Pvt Ltd, where he led HR operations for large-scale infrastructure projects including tunnels, roads, and steel bridges across India. His role involved shaping HR policy frameworks and driving organizational development strategies.
Suresh also spent over 15 years at Mahagun India Pvt Ltd as Assistant General Manager – HR & Admin (Corporate), where he handled talent management and administration for township development, IT parks, malls, SEZs, and other real estate projects in and around Delhi. His earlier stints included roles at Oriental Structural Engineers, Unitech Limited, and others—building a solid foundation in HR operations across industrial, real estate, and infrastructure sectors.
