Singapore, June 2026 — Alter Domus has appointed Suresh Gopal as Global Head of Onboarding, strengthening its global client lifecycle capabilities as the company continues to expand its technology-enabled alternative investment services platform.
In his new role, Suresh will lead Alter Domus’ global onboarding strategy and platform delivery teams, driving greater standardization, operational consistency, and efficiency across client lifecycle operations worldwide. He will focus on enhancing onboarding processes, strengthening platform capabilities, improving client experience, and supporting the firm’s continued global growth through scalable and technology-driven operating models.
Suresh joins Alter Domus from HSBC, where he served as Director – Fund Administration Product Management (ASEAN & Australia). In this role, he oversaw fund administration product management across the region, leading strategic initiatives to enhance product capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and deliver stronger client outcomes.
Earlier, he was Chief Operating Officer at Propine, a regulated digital asset custodian in Singapore, where he led operations supporting digital payment tokens, digital securities, and fiat custody services. He also served as Director at AlfaSec Advisors, advising financial institutions on fund services, operating model optimization, regulatory remediation, and transformation initiatives.
A significant part of Suresh’s career was spent with State Street, where he held numerous senior leadership positions across Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and France, including Regional Head of Strategic Client Solutions & Product (APAC), Deputy General Manager (Singapore), Senior Vice President – New Ventures, Regional Head of Product & Project Services (APAC), Chief Operating Officer – Asia ex-Japan, and IT Director. Throughout these roles, he led large-scale transformation programs, fund administration operations, custody services, technology modernization, governance, and strategic product development across multiple international markets.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience in financial services, Suresh has developed deep expertise in Fund Administration, Custody Services, Client Onboarding, Product Management, Platform Transformation, Operating Model Design, Digital Assets, Regulatory Governance, Financial Technology, Securities Services, Business Transformation, Corporate Governance, Program Management, and Global Operations.
His appointment reflects Alter Domus’ continued investment in strengthening its global operating platform while delivering seamless, technology-enabled experiences for alternative investment managers and asset owners worldwide.
