With extensive experience in consumer goods, FMCG, IT consulting, and supply chain management, he is well-positioned to enhance DP World’s commercial operations, expand market presence, and drive business transformation.
Before joining DP World, Suresh Ramani took a brief career transition break after serving as Chief Transformation Officer at TVS Supply Chain Solutions, where he led the development of a global customer portfolio and drove strategic transformation initiatives. Prior to this, he was Country Head & Chief Operating Officer at TVS Supply Chain Solutions, leading operations for over five years and driving large-scale business growth, supply chain excellence, and client engagement strategies.
Earlier in his career, Suresh served as Head of Business Development at TVS Logistics Services Ltd., focusing on sales, solutions, and expansion into adjacent sectors such as engineering, FMCG, and retail. He also held key roles at Tata Consultancy Services, including Head of Business Solutions for Growth Markets and Principal Consultant, where he was instrumental in solution-based selling, business transformation, and IT alignment with business outcomes.
His professional journey spans leadership roles at Retailor Technologies Pvt Ltd, Esolutions Pvt Ltd, GE, Whirlpool Corporation, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, and Godrej GE Appliances, where he played a crucial role in market expansion, sales operations, and supply chain optimization.
Suresh Ramani holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore), one of India’s premier business schools. His education has provided him with a strong foundation in business strategy, leadership, and market growth initiatives.
