Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 2024 – Tamil Selvi Velmurugan has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at iorta TechNXT, a leading digital transformation company. Before joining iorta TechNXT, Tamil Selvi Velmurugan was the Regional HR Head – APAC at 3i Infotech Ltd., where she successfully led HR operations for Malaysia and other APAC regions. During her 2 years and 9 months in this role, Tamil was responsible for statutory compliance, talent acquisition, and the overall human resource strategy for the region. Her leadership in strategic planning and problem-solving contributed significantly to organizational excellence.

Prior to that, Tamil served as an HR Business Partner at 3i Infotech Ltd. for 6 years and 9 months, where she managed the entire employee lifecycle for one of the company’s business verticals. She focused on employee engagement, performance management, and HR analytics, building a strong foundation in managing escalations and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Earlier in her career, Tamil held the position of Senior Associate at 3i Infotech Ltd. and Senior Executive at Firstsource, where she gained experience in teamwork and HR systems management. These roles helped her develop the skills required for her future leadership positions in human resources.

Tamil’s career began as an Account Assistant at Army Officers Institute, where she worked for over 5 years, building her expertise in operations management and teamwork.
