Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, March 2025 – Tania Wojtowicz has stepped into the role of Head of People for Group Technology at BOQ Group. Reporting to the General Manager of Strategic Business Partnering, she will collaborate closely with the Group Executive & Chief Information Officer, supporting a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees. As a key member of BOQ’s Senior Leadership Group and People Team, she will lead a team of People Partners and Advisors, guiding horizontal leadership development within an Agile operating model.
Prior to joining BOQ Group, Tania Wojtowicz spent over four years at Woolworths Group, where she held two significant leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Head of People & Culture, partnering with senior leaders in WooliesX to implement people-centric solutions across digital technology and transformation functions. Earlier, she was Culture and People Lead for Woolworths Start-Ups such as Healthylife and PetCulture, where she was instrumental in crafting talent strategies and HR frameworks for fast-growing ventures within the retail and health ecosystems.

Before Woolworths, Tania worked at Transport for NSW as Head of Business Partnering for approximately five months. She led a team delivering strategic HR support to over 2,000 employees within Corporate Services, contributing to one of TfNSW’s largest restructures focused on consolidating transport agencies under the NSW 2056 strategic vision.
Tania also served as Human Resources Director at Thorn Group Limited for over four years, reporting directly to the CEO. In this role, she led HR transformation during a period of regulatory and operational change, managing a national HR team and contributing as a member of the Board Remuneration and Nomination Committee. Her earlier career included leadership roles at Wolters Kluwer, QBE Insurance, AAMI, and Wright Patton Shakespeare Financial Group, where she built strong expertise in organizational design, people strategy, and cultural change.
