Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, May 2026 – WSO2, an EQT Group portfolio company and a global technology leader in open-source enterprise platforms, has appointed Tanmaya Das as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Announcing his new role, Tanmaya Das shared his enthusiasm about joining WSO2 at a pivotal stage of growth and transformation. He highlighted the company’s innovation-led culture, strong global customer footprint, and significant opportunities emerging from accelerated enterprise digital transformation journeys worldwide.
In his new position, Tanmaya Das will work closely with the leadership team to support WSO2’s next phase of business expansion, financial transformation, strategic growth initiatives, and long-term value creation.
Prior to joining WSO2, Tanmaya Das served as Chief Financial Officer at RateGain for nearly a decade, where he played a critical role in scaling the company from a startup into a publicly listed mid-sized global enterprise. During his tenure, he led five global mergers and acquisitions, completed Series A and Series B funding rounds, successfully managed the company’s IPO listing on Indian stock exchanges, executed a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), and contributed significantly to scaling the business nearly twenty-fold.
Following his operational leadership stint at RateGain, he continued his association with the organization as a Board Advisor, while simultaneously taking on consulting and advisory assignments focused on M&A, integrations, fundraising, and IPO readiness for startups and mid-sized companies. He also became associated with KIIT – Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology as an honorary Professor of Practice and joined Xchange Talk as a founding member.
Earlier in his career, Tanmaya Das held leadership positions at Dion Global Solutions and Religare, where he gained extensive expertise in corporate finance, restructuring, treasury, taxation, ERP implementation, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic financial management across listed and multinational business environments.
His professional journey also includes finance and operational leadership roles with CSC, Keane, Avaya, and PwC, where he built strong capabilities across financial planning, risk management, budgeting, business finance, audit, compliance, and transformation initiatives in both Indian and international markets.
