Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 2024 – Tarek Hendi has been appointed as the Vice President of Human Resources at Al Tayer Motors, part of Al Tayer Group. In this new role, he will oversee the HR strategies and operations for the automotive division, contributing to the group’s dynamic growth and employee engagement initiatives.
Career Journey: Tarek Hendi brings a wealth of experience to his new role at Al Tayer Motors. Prior to this position, he served as the Global Head of HR Automation and Communication at Hitachi Energy for nearly five years. In this role, he led HR automation and communication strategies globally, and also served as the Head of HR Middle East and Africa during his tenure at the company.
Before his time at Hitachi Energy, Hendi was the HR Executive Manager MEA at BRF for about one and a half years. His career in HR began at GE, where he held several key positions over a period of nearly eight years, including HR Director MEA and India and various managerial roles in HR for different sectors.
Earlier in his career, Hendi worked at PepsiCo as a Commercial HR Manager and Commercial HR Supervisor, with significant contributions in HR management in Egypt. He began his career as an HR Coordinator at Americana Foods.
