United Kingdom, December 2024 – Toneya Sarwar has been named Senior Director, People & Culture (International Sales for Europe, MEA & APAC) at Mitel. In her new role, Toneya will lead HR strategies for Mitel’s international sales divisions, focusing on workforce planning, leadership development, and cultural transformation to support the company’s global objectives.
Toneya brings an impressive over 17 years of HR expertise from her tenure at Cisco Systems, where she held several roles, including People & Communities Leader for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Her achievements include implementing workforce planning strategies, launching apprenticeship programs, and embedding HR deliverables into leadership KPIs.
Earlier in her career, Toneya served as Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Cisco Systems, where she enhanced female diversity on senior leadership teams and executed successful retention and upskilling strategies. Prior to Cisco, she was Senior Branch Manager at Pertemps Network Group, overseeing recruitment and talent management for the Midlands region.
Her journey in HR leadership has consistently been marked by innovation, inclusion, and measurable impact, making her a valuable addition to Mitel’s leadership team.
