Chicago, Illinois, December 2024 – Renovo Financial, a leading residential real estate investment lender, has announced the appointment of Tonya Fuhs Wallach as its new Chief People Officer (CPO). Tonya brings over two decades of experience in human resources, organizational development, and talent management, and her leadership will play a pivotal role in fostering a strong company culture and driving employee engagement.
In her role as CPO, Tonya will oversee all aspects of human capital strategy, including talent acquisition, employee development, diversity and inclusion, and organizational design. She will work closely with the leadership team to align Renovo’s people initiatives with its growth-oriented business strategy, ensuring the company continues to excel in serving residential real estate investors across multiple markets.
Tonya’s extensive career includes significant leadership roles in human resources. Prior to joining Renovo Financial, she served as Senior Vice President, Talent and Head of HR & Marketing at Broadstreet Impact Services, where she developed and led people strategies for an impact financial services firm with $529M AUM and $1.49B AUA.
Earlier, as Chief Talent and Inclusion Officer at U.S. Soccer Federation, Tonya spearheaded the design and execution of HR strategies, enhancing employee engagement and productivity for the organization’s 500+ employees. She has also held leadership positions at Abbott, where she managed global learning and leadership development programs, and at Kraft Foods Group, where she established a federated operating model for learning and talent development.
Tonya’s early career includes her role as Director of Leadership Effectiveness at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she developed leadership programs for MBA students, and as Senior Consultant, Business Process Reengineering at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.
