Atlanta, Georgia, United States, November 2025 – MiMedx, a global leader in placental tissue-based therapeutics and advanced wound care solutions, has announced the appointment of Tracy Chastain as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, Tracy will oversee MiMedx’s HR strategy and transformation agenda, driving programs that enhance employee experience, leadership capability, and organizational culture to support the company’s continued innovation and sustainable growth.
Before joining MiMedx, Tracy Chastain served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at SCP Health, a leading clinical solutions company operating across 30 states with over 400 healthcare facilities. At SCP Health, she led the HR Business Partner network, Employee Relations, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and HRIS functions. She was instrumental in implementing talent management systems, organizational design initiatives, and succession planning strategies, aligning people practices with business objectives to strengthen workforce capability and engagement.
Earlier, Tracy founded Tracy Chastain Consulting, LLC, where she provided independent strategic HR consulting services to healthcare and technology organizations. Her work included advising clients on organizational design, leadership development, and business transformation. She also delivered extensive executive coaching and helped companies navigate large-scale transitions by designing agile HR operating models and culture development frameworks.
Before her consulting tenure, Tracy spent nearly 12 years at McKesson Corporation, one of the world’s largest healthcare companies, where she held multiple HR leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Marketing at McKesson Specialty Health and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at McKesson Technology Solutions. At McKesson, she played a pivotal role in global acquisitions, divestitures, and large-scale organizational redesigns impacting over 17,000 employees. Her leadership in talent management, change leadership, and HR transformation earned her recognition for building high-performing teams that enabled McKesson’s business growth and operational efficiency.
Tracy began her career with AT&T (BellSouth), where she held key HR leadership roles across talent acquisition, staffing systems, and labor relations. During her tenure, she successfully managed large-scale recruitment operations for over 80,000 employees across a multi-state region and led major process improvement and digital transformation initiatives in HR operations.
