London, England, June 2024 – Trovène Hartley has taken on a new role as Chief People Officer at Capital City College Group. With an extensive background in human resources and a focus on employee engagement and organizational development, Trovène is poised to lead the group’s HR initiatives, driving strategic change and fostering a positive work environment.
Trovène Hartley brings over 15 years of HR expertise to her new role at Capital City College Group. Before her appointment as Chief People Officer, Trovène served as the Human Resources Director at the same organization from October 2022 to June 2024. In this capacity, she was responsible for overseeing HR operations, implementing employee engagement strategies, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
From February 2020 to October 2022, Trovène was the Head of HR at Capital City College Group, where she played a key role in enhancing HR processes and supporting workforce planning initiatives. Her contributions significantly improved the organization’s HR capabilities and employee satisfaction.
Prior to her tenure at Capital City College Group, Trovène worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Glenn Hartley Ltd from September 2019 to October 2022. In this role, she provided HR consultancy services to various organizations, focusing on capacity building, training, and developing inclusive and diverse workforces.
From April 2016 to September 2019, Trovène held the position of Head of HR at Save the Children UK. Reporting to the Executive HR Director, she had strategic responsibility for reward, health and safety, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, HRIS systems, and HR administration. Her leadership and strategic vision were instrumental in advancing the HR function at Save the Children UK.
Trovène also served as an HR Director at The Kemnal Academies Trust from September 2013 to December 2015, and as an HR Consultant at Medway Council from August 2009 to September 2013, where she provided high-level HR advice and support to senior managers and educational institutions.
Her career in HR began as an HR Adviser at the London Borough of Hackney from October 2006 to August 2009, where she advised on employee relations and employment legislation.
