Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — Karix has elevated Uma Singh to the position of Senior Director – Human Resources. In her expanded leadership role, she will lead the company’s people strategy, talent management, organizational development, leadership development, succession planning, culture transformation, HR operations, and workforce initiatives, supporting Karix’s continued growth and organizational excellence.
With over 16 years of Human Resources leadership experience across technology, fintech, and financial services, Uma Singh has built deep expertise in HR business partnering, organizational design, leadership development, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, change management, and culture transformation. Her elevation reflects Karix’s confidence in her ability to strengthen its people agenda while enabling business growth through strategic HR leadership.
Prior to this promotion, Uma served as Director – HR Business Partner at Karix, where she led the company’s people strategy by partnering closely with the executive leadership team. She drove HR strategies aligned with business growth, strengthened leadership pipelines, led succession planning, organizational design, talent acquisition strategy, employee retention initiatives, and enterprise-wide change management programs. Earlier, she served as Associate Director – HR Business Partner, where she helped scale the HR partnering model, introduced performance management frameworks, supported organizational restructuring, capability building, and employee engagement initiatives. She initially joined Karix as Regional Human Resources Business Partner, where she established the regional HRBP function, strengthened stakeholder partnerships, supported recruitment and onboarding, and implemented HR policies and compliance frameworks.
Before joining Karix, Uma spent nearly a decade with Hitachi Payment Services Pvt. Ltd., progressing through multiple Human Resources leadership roles including Executive – Human Resources, Manager – Human Resources, and Senior Human Resources Manager. During her tenure, she led end-to-end HR operations, workforce planning, organizational restructuring, employee relations, learning and development, HR digitization, talent acquisition, compliance, and performance management while supporting the organization’s rapid business expansion.
Earlier in her career, she worked as Senior Executive – Human Resources at Bharti AXA Life Insurance, where she gained valuable experience in core Human Resources functions and employee management, laying a strong foundation for her HR leadership journey.
