Pune, Maharashtra, India, June 2024 – Venugopal Rao Pendyala has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Autoline Industries Limited. With his extensive experience and strategic vision, Venugopal is set to lead Autoline Industries towards new heights of growth and innovation.

Venugopal brings over three decades of rich experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. He has been with Autoline Industries Limited for over four years, having served in various leadership capacities. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Venugopal held the position of Group CFO & CRO Autoline | Director E-Mobility | CEO Autoline Design. During this tenure, he provided executive leadership in evaluating strategic financial objectives, enhancing financial performance, and managing risk. He worked closely with investment advisors and private equity investors to manage the investment portfolio and developed operational and financial strategies.

Before joining Autoline, Venugopal spent 25 years at Tata Motors, where he ascended to the role of General Manager (Product Line Finance) – Commercial Vehicles. His expertise in streamlining processes and formulating cost-effective solutions significantly enhanced the overall profitability of the organization. He drove financial operations, product cost savings initiatives, and implemented new initiatives to increase top-line profitability. Venugopal also played a crucial role in due diligence, process transitions, and re-engineering existing processes, resulting in substantial savings.

Venugopal began his career as a Production Engineer at NSSL LTD. and later moved to Fouress Engineering (India) Pvt Ltd and Bharat Forge Ltd, where he gained significant experience in production management. His early roles laid a strong foundation in manufacturing and process optimization.
