Pune, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 – Autoline Industries Limited has announced the appointment of Venugopal Rao Pendyala as Group Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its executive leadership team as the global auto-ancillary and engineering group accelerates its multi-year transformation and Industry 4.0–led growth agenda. In his new role, Venugopal will drive financial transformation, governance excellence, digital integration and capital strategy across Autoline’s global operations.
Venugopal brings to Autoline over three decades of leadership experience across automotive manufacturing, business transformation and financial strategy. Prior to this appointment, he served as CXO – Business Transformation & Technology Officer at Alicon Castalloy Limited, where he led enterprise-wide digital integration, SAP S/4HANA implementation, cybersecurity governance and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
He has also held senior leadership roles within Autoline Industries Limited, serving as Group Chief Executive Officer & Director – Autoline E Mobility, and earlier as CFO, Director – E-Mobility and CEO – Autoline Design, where he drove turnaround strategies, revenue growth, digital transformation and global stakeholder engagement across manufacturing and electric mobility businesses.
Earlier in his career, Venugopal spent over 25 years with Tata Motors as General Manager – Business Planning (Commercial Vehicles & R&D), where he played a critical role in strategic finance, M&A initiatives, investor relations, profitability improvement and large-scale turnaround programmes across the commercial vehicle business. He began his professional journey in manufacturing operations with Bharat Forge, Fouress Engineering (India) Pvt Ltd and NSSL Ltd, building deep domain expertise in production engineering and industrial manufacturing.
Venugopal Rao Pendyala holds a Post Graduate Program in Finance, Banking, Corporate Finance and Securities Law from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore.
