New York, New York, United States, August 2026 — SKDK has appointed Veracelle Vega as its Chief Operating Officer. In her new leadership role, she will oversee the firm’s operational strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent leadership, and business operations, supporting SKDK’s continued growth as a leading strategic communications, public affairs, and public relations firm.
Bringing more than two decades of leadership experience across operations, human resources, organizational development, executive leadership, and culture transformation, Veracelle Vega has built an accomplished career spanning consulting, technology, retail, e-commerce, media, and the public sector. Her appointment further strengthens SKDK’s executive leadership team as the firm continues to expand its capabilities and deliver strategic value to clients.
Prior to joining SKDK, Veracelle Vega served as Chief People Officer at Prose, where she led the company’s people strategy and organizational culture. During her tenure, Prose earned recognition as one of the Best Places to Work in New York and Los Angeles, reflecting her commitment to building high-performing and people-centric workplaces.
Earlier, she was Senior Vice President, People + Culture at CAMP, where she served on the executive leadership team and helped shape the people strategy for the high-growth experiential retail company.
Before CAMP, she served as Chief People Officer at Boxed, where she led the company’s human resources and organizational transformation initiatives following its public market journey. Under her leadership, Boxed was recognized as one of BuiltIn NYC’s Best Places to Work.
She previously served as Chief People Officer at Resident, where she helped scale the direct-to-consumer home goods company while leading talent, culture, and organizational development initiatives. During her tenure, Resident was recognized among BuiltIn NYC’s Best Places to Work for three consecutive years.
Earlier in her career, Veracelle held senior leadership positions including Vice President, People + Culture at Clarifai, Senior Vice President, People at Madison Logic, and Senior Director, Corporate Human Resources at 21st Century Fox. She also spent more than five years at News Corp, progressing through multiple corporate HR leadership roles, after beginning her professional journey in the U.S. federal government with the Social Security Administration and the prestigious U.S. Office of Personnel Management Presidential Management Fellows Program.
In addition to her executive responsibilities, Veracelle continues to serve as an Adjunct Faculty member at Villanova University, where she teaches graduate-level Human Capital Management courses.
