Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has appointed Ravi Goswami as Vice President – Environment, Health & Safety (EHS). In his new role, he will lead the company’s EHS agenda, strengthening safety culture, environmental compliance, risk management, governance, and sustainability practices across Glenmark’s operations.
Ravi brings more than 25 years of experience in environment, health and safety leadership across pharmaceuticals, FMCG, telecom, and automotive manufacturing. Prior to joining Glenmark, he spent more than nine years with PepsiCo, where he most recently served as Country EHS Head and EMEA EHS Culture Transformation Lead. In this role, he was responsible for advancing safety culture across India while also supporting broader transformation initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Earlier at PepsiCo, Ravi served as Corporate EHS Head / Associate Director – EHS, where he led enterprise-wide programs focused on taking the organization beyond compliance, integrating EHS into business operations, strengthening governance, and building internal partnerships across the supply chain and operations ecosystem.
Before PepsiCo, Ravi spent over four years with GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, serving as EHS Lead – External Supply Sites and Logistics and earlier as Plant EHS Head. During his tenure, he led EHS governance across contract manufacturing sites and warehouses and was recognized with the Global CEO EHS Excellence Award for improving safety culture at a highly unionized manufacturing site.
His earlier career includes serving as Regional HSSE Head – North / DGM EHS at Uninor (Telenor Group), Assistant Manager at Suzuki Powertrain India Limited, and several EHS leadership positions with Hero Honda Motors Ltd. Across these roles, he developed deep expertise in EHS management systems, supplier compliance, statutory governance, environmental management, emergency preparedness, training, fire safety, and culture transformation.
With a career spanning multiple industries and operating environments, Ravi brings strong expertise in EHS strategy, safety culture, environmental governance, operational risk, supplier compliance, and organizational transformation, positioning him to support Glenmark’s continued focus on sustainable and responsible growth.
