Dubai, United Arab Emirates,August 2026 — IFF has elevated Alvin John Koshy to the role of HR Country Manager for UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. In his expanded leadership role, he will lead the company’s people strategy across the three countries, overseeing talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, compensation and benefits, succession planning, recruitment, HR operations, and leadership support while strengthening IFF’s regional people agenda.
Bringing over 15 years of Human Resources leadership experience across the UAE and the Middle East, Alvin John Koshy has built deep expertise in HR business partnering, employee engagement, talent management, organizational development, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, HR operations, SAP HRIS, and people strategy. His elevation reflects IFF’s confidence in his ability to drive business-aligned HR transformation and support the organization’s continued regional growth.
Prior to this promotion, Alvin served as HR Business Partner at IFF, where he acted as the strategic HR advisor for the UAE and Saudi Arabia. He partnered closely with business leaders to implement global HR initiatives, drive succession planning, lead compensation and benefits reviews, strengthen employee engagement, oversee recruitment, and manage the complete employee lifecycle. During his tenure, he received multiple recognitions for exceptional HR support and his contribution to the growth of IFF’s Dubai business and Ingredients Business Unit.
Earlier, he held leadership roles at DAMAC Properties, progressing from Assistant Manager – Employee Engagement to Manager – People and Performance, where he led HR business partnering for sales and operations, implemented performance management systems, developed reward and recognition frameworks, drove workforce planning, and strengthened employee engagement initiatives.
Before joining DAMAC, Alvin spent over six years with Halliburton Worldwide Ltd., advancing through several Human Resources positions including HR Associate, HR Generalist, Senior HR Generalist, and Senior HR Operations Partner – UAE/MENA. During this period, he supported large-scale HR operations across the Middle East, managed employee mobilization, HR analytics, SAP HRIS, compensation administration, recruitment support, benefits management, and regional HR operations while receiving multiple MVP and Applause Awards for outstanding performance.
He began his professional career as an IT Consultant with Zahran Falcon Travels, before transitioning into Human Resources and building an accomplished regional HR leadership career.
